Successful Kickstarter for 'Robot Soup'

The timing could have been better…

Despite launching the Kickstarter for our newest book a week before Covid-19 lockdowns went into effect across the country, we reached our funding goal for Robot Soup in April 2020.

The recording of Robot Soup (the song)—produced with Knowa Johnson—dropped at the end of May and can be downloaded here on the website under “FREE Downloads.” The funding from the Kickstarter is being used to pay for an animated music video, which we’re currently working on with a local animator. We hope to release that by October!

Slowdowns with the book printer delayed distribution of the books, T-shirts and other goodies. But by midsummer, nearly all of the project backers had a book in hand.

Currently, we’re working to promote the book and song online, and trying to figure out whether or not we’ll be able to do virtual school visits in the year ahead.

Oh! And we’re starting to work on the next book! More on that soon…
